应县木塔
应县木塔又称佛宫寺释迦塔，建于辽清宁二年(1056)，塔高67.31米。20世纪90年初木塔保护工程开始启动，进入新世纪后，保护工作力度逐步加大。2008年6月，依照国家文物局《关于应县木塔保养养护维修设计方案的批复》要求，省文物局组织对木塔实施养护性维修，重点解决屋面漏雨问题，中国文化遗产研究院和山西省古建筑保护研究所参与了保护工程工作。[next]
◆ 根据残损现状对副阶屋面进行小修补漏和必要的实验，并以此维修为例，对木塔其它各层屋面进行全面维护。现已完成副阶等屋面维护保养工作。
◆ 对佛宫寺内钟楼进行重点修复。
2008年8月, 应县木塔保养维护及钟、鼓楼维修工程建设单位与施工单位，邀请中国文化遗产研究院副总工程师侯卫东、北京故宫博物院高级工程师张克贵、李永革等古建筑专家，实地考察了木塔施工现场，对施工过程中遇到的问题给予现场解决和技术指导。
2008年11月，国家文物局文物保护司文物处负责人许言、中国文化遗产研究院副总工程师侯卫东、高级工程师张之平、北京故宫博物院高级工程师张克贵等有关专家对应县木塔保养维护及钟楼维修工程进行了年度检查，对工程施工质量给予充分肯定。
The Wooden Pagoda of Yingxian County was built in the 2nd year of Qingning in Liao Dynasty. The Pagoda is 67.31m high. In the1990's, the conservational project began. After entering the new century, the conservational work has been strengthened. In June of 2006, the maintained project has been carried out according to the reply demand of State Administration of Cultural Heritage in order to solve the rain leakage problem. Chinese Academy of cultural Heritage joined the work.
Before the repair of roof, we made a necessary experiment to the corridor roof of the pagoda, with the experiment experience the repair to the roofs of other stories began. Now the repair of the corridor has finished.
The Institute made a focal repair to the Bell Tower of Fogong Temple. In August of 2008, we invited Hou Weidong, the vice chief engineer of Chinese Academy of Cultural Heritage, Zhang Kegui, and Li Yongge, high rank engineers of Palace Museum and other experts in historical buildings to make an inspection to the constructive site, they gave technical guidance to the problems met in the constructive process.
In November of 2008, Xu Yan, leader in charge of the Cultural Heritage Department of State Administration of Cultural Heritage, Hou Weidong, the vice chief engineer of Chinese Academy of Cultural Heritage, Zhang Zhiping, high rank engineer, Zhang Kegui, high rank engineers of Palace Museum made annual check on the quality of the maintenance of the pagoda and repair of the Bell Tower, the constructive quality was fully approved by them.[next]
